Scholarship Applications are now OPEN!
Thanks to the generous support of our community, Women of Argyle is pleased to provide the following scholarships this year:
$5,000 (3) - General Scholarships
$5,000 (1) - Trade Scholarship (Any student pursuing a trade/vocational education)
We encourage students to apply who have not only met the academic requirements for his/her diploma, but also have been active in other meaningful extracurricular activities such as school, church, and community organizations - this also includes any employment. Students who have faced life or financial challenges are highly encouraged to apply. Our mission is to improve the probability that a promising student will have the opportunity to continue their education.
Eligibility Requirements:
Currently a high school Senior & graduating high school in May 2026.
Pursuing further education upon graduation at a trade school, community college or 4 year university.
Current primary residence is within Argyle ISD boundaries OR currently attending Argyle ISD and/or Liberty Christian.
Home-schooled students must have a current and primary residence within the Argyle ISD school district boundaries.
Submit a completed application by Saturday, March 21st at 11:59 PM CST.

Upload Transcript (unofficial is acceptable) via Google Form OR email WOA at scholarships@womenorargyle.org
Complete (2) essays within the Google Form
Upload the first page of the FAFSA form showing Student Aid Index (SAI) within the Google Form OR email to scholarships@womenorargyle.org
Submit 2 Recommendations:
Submission 1: Preferably a teacher, counselor, coach or other school district employee
Submission 2: Preferably a non-teacher (community member, church member, work manager, supervisor)
No paper applications will be accepted. ALL documents must be uploaded via the online application (Google Form) or emailed directly to scholarships@womenorargyle.org
2026 WOA Scholarship Committee Judging CriteriaOnly completed applications will be reviewed and judged on the following criteria:
TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE: 100 The entire application, including the essays, will be judged for grammar, relevance, interest, content development, and completion.
